Christy has a passion to create a safe space in which healing, hope, and restoration can occur. She enjoys working with clients in a collaborative effort to set and reach the goals they desire. Christy provides effective tools, helps clients gain resources to address life’s challenges, restores hope to individuals, and creates the path to wholehearted living that allows one to go from surviving to thriving.
Christy earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate. She provides individual, family, preteen and adolescent(ages 10+) therapy.
She is a Prepare-Enrich facilitator, EMDR certified, TRM (Trauma Resiliency) certified, CCMC (Military Certified), trained in the Gottman couples approach and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and utilizes Mindfulness, DBT, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Areas of special interest include: trauma, grief/loss, teen issues, depression, anxiety, anger management, boundaries, and relationship issues. She has experience working with youth in crisis, individuals with self harming behaviors, adults suffering trauma and loss, and couples in distress.
