A WORLDWIDE VISION
Drummond and Lindah have a God given vision:
•
To restore and protect the covenant of marriage.
•
To heal, restore and equip families to become an environment of love, acceptance, and forgiveness where each person may experience hope, joy and a sense of security and fulfillment in their value as a person and their purpose and destiny in life.
•
To raise up and release leadership potential in the local Church as people are restored and given a vision & opportunity to use their gifts in service of others.
•

To help build up the local Church and equip it to serve its community in restoring families.
STRATEGY
•

Develop and present Holy Spirit-led seminars.
•
Train leaders to facilitate these seminars.
•
Supply resources in the form of seminars, books, DVDs, etc.
•
Help local churches to start "family" departments and eventually start Family Transformation Centres reaching out into the community.
Family Transformation International was registered to be a resource to help train up leaders in local churches to present seminars. They have been presenting The Anointed Marriage since 1992, a seminar aimed at empowering marriages, blessing families and releasing leadership in the body of Christ. Other courses they have developed to help minister in to people's lives are Together Forever, Positioned for Blessing, Woman of Peace and 7 secrets to Fan the Flame of marriage. They also have a team of part time facilitators who help in the ministry. Facilitators are trained to present therse seminars to groups of people, providing healing of brokenness, hope, reconcilitation and restoration for people, marriages and families.
To date ± 2800 facilitators have been trained internationally in over 220 churches worldwide.
FAMILYTRANSFORMATION CENTRES
Drummond and Lindah have a vision to help local churches establish Family Transformation Centres in their communities. The family centre will be a department of the local church and the vision includes the following:
•
Prepare couples for marriage.
•
Equip couples to have a better marriage.
•
Help people become better parents.
•
Strengthen and bless families.
•
Minister to families in crisis, e.g.
| |
• Coping with divorce.
• Grieving through the loss of someone.
• Crisis in pregnancy (even if this is initially a point of referral).
•
Raise up and release leadership.
•
Build up the local church.
| |
This will be achieved by offering:
| |
1.

Holy Spirit anointed seminars (giving practical instruction on how to understand and apply biblical principles to their lives).
2.
Family life support / cell groups.
3.
Resources. Targeted books, tapes, DVDs.
4.
One to one counselling.
The first Family Transformation Centre was started alongside Harvest Christian Church in Port Elizabeth and since 1997 over 7500 people have attended seminars and received ministry. The interesting fact is that over 60% were not from the local church; that is, they were drawn from the general community. The fact that 80% of families are in crisis and need desperate help is something that we as churches need to address. We believe that the Family Transformation Centre is a God solution to help bridge the gap between the community and the local church. People with family related needs will not normally come to the local church for help. Family Transformation Centres can provide the door for them to find help and to be channelled into the local church.
RESOURCE TRAINING BASE
The Family Transformation Centre in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, presents seminars on a monthly basis. Pastors and leaders can attend these seminars to be trained and equipped to present the various seminars in their local church. At the same time they will have the opportunity to see the Family Centre in operation. Ongoing support is then given to these churches.
Please register as early as possible for these courses. For dates and times, please see the home page.
